Insights and Suggestions on Overcoming Resentment, Negative Sentiment Override, Victimization and More
with
Luella Jonk

Show Notes
This is a soup-to-nuts overview of relationships and a summary of what I have heard my clients talk about in the therapy room about their own struggles. I explain the importance of taking radical responsibility for your actions and the ability to say sorry.
I also discuss the difficulty of gaining self-awareness when we are more interested in protecting our ego and, finally, the fine line between gaining a healthy sense of self-esteem while still remaining humble and human. I explain a term Gottman often uses called Negative Sentiment override, what it means and how to get out of ‘the roach motel’ as John Gottman so eloquently describes it.
