Conversations About Sleep and Constipation
Beth Claxton, MD, IFMCP
I first met Dr. Claxton when I began my journey into functional medicine nearly 4 years ago. Beth is an MD, certified in OB/GYN. Beth grew to love functional medicine just as I have and has used it extensively in her practice to help women specifically with hormone imbalance as it relates to perimenopause, menopause, sleep disturbances, and constipation.
Beth Claxton sees herself as a human on a journey. Her degree as a Medical Doctor and board certification as an OB/Gyn marked her path. Her curiosity led her to become a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and an Ayurvedic Yoga Health Coach. Most recently Beth became certified in Functional Medicine which felt like completing the circle to her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. She has two daughters who are beginning their paths in finding their own gifts to the world. Northern Arizona is where Beth currently calls home.
